Acting

AG is a thoughtful and deeply specific theatre maker with fantastic comedic timing and deep emotional range...She is an absolute dream to work with.
— Ray Nokes-Borge, Director

I have been an actor and a performer for nearly twenty years. The theatre called to me like a deep aching need from the moment I set eyes on her. From Shakespeare to Sondheim, I want to see it and be it all. I saw my first Shakespeare play (Two Gentlemen of Verona) when I was six years old, and two years later I went and saw Othello four times.

I have a generalist Theatre Arts degree because I could never pick just one thing. I studied acting, directing, costume design, playwriting, theatre history, and dramaturgy, nearly all of which still play a huge role in my career to this day.

I have over ten years of vocal training and experience in both choral and solo performance, and I used to fall asleep listening to the full symphonic recording of Les Miserable.

More recently I have been stretching my acting muscles through the medium of Table-Top Role Playing Games. Not only do I get to fully embody and bring to life an original character, but I am a hands-on participant in telling a unique story. It’s like being an actor, writer, costume designer, dramaturg, and therapist all at the same time.
