Narration

AG’s innate understanding and passion for investigating human nature allows her to embody a wide range of characters with depth and precision...I would hire AG every time.
— Caitlin Lushington, Artistic Director of Enso Theatre Ensemble

As an audiobook narrator I love to work on the same kinds of books I like to read: intimate, character driven romance; wide-spread epic fantasy; goosebump-inducing horror; science fiction that takes you to new worlds; historical fiction that illuminates the lives of folks who are often overlooked; and juicy, poetic prose in any genre.

I have been an epic book nerd for most of my life, as books were the first place I felt truly seen. As a queer, neurodivergent, fat, nonbinary artist I struggled to find myself represented in fiction in my early childhood. This is part of what led me to start writing my own fiction and pursuing a life in the theatre: if the stories I wanted weren’t out there yet, I would have to be the one to write them.

I grew up attending theatre at one of the largest rotating repertory theatres in the country, and saw my first Shakespearean play when I was six years old. I have always been excited by writers who explore and experiment with form, tone, and rhythm in their writing, and as a narrator it is my job to make the text sing.

Oral storytelling is an ancient and uniquely human practice, one that I see echoed in the popularity of audiobooks today. There is almost nothing as intimate as someone telling you a story, and it is my passion and delight to pull the threads of this ancient practice into the modern world.
